Hi! My name is Ella. I am an Illustrator, Animator and Puppet maker from Scotland and currently based in Manchester. I takes inspiration from the landscapes and folk stories of Scotland, with a focus on texture and strong colours. I like to tell stories through animation with illustration elements tied in through painted backgrounds and paper puppet characters. I have recently begun to explore puppet making and plans to develop this more within my practice.
